SEATTLE - Tylor C. Laney recently joined Cozen O’Connor’s Seattle office as an associate in the insurance department. Prior to joining the firm, Laney was an associate with Scheer & Zehnder LLP in Seattle.

Laney practices in the insurance coverage claims/litigation practice group and has experience in handling insurance defense, construction defect, personal injury, insurance coverage, wrongful death and products liability matters. He has also worked on cases involving medical malpractice, private condemnation, employment, probate and appellate issues.

Admitted to practice in Washington, Laney is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and the King County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. 

Laney is a graduate of the University of Washington (B.A., 2000) and the University of Washington School of Law (J.D., 2004), where he earned a Health Law Certificate and was a Westlaw certified case and statute researcher. He also served as a volunteer for the Union Gospel Mission Legal Clinic and the Partnership for Youth Justice.
